Some coffee and a window

I am coming back, as promised, with my stories from Viterbo. To make a quick recap, Viterbo is a lovely small city in Italy, 100 km away from Rome, and i am here volunteering in a project called "Step Up", like the dance movie series starring Channing Tatum ( equally famous and equally awesome).

I've been here for 10 days now and i would love to share crazy adventures with you but, the truth is that i had to stay inside due to quarantine mode being "on". To be completely honest, i expected to be as bored as watching a snail crossing the street, but i was surprised to realize how many different ideas and points of view can a single window offer. I am sure by now that i have the best window in the entire town and you'll understand by looking at the pictures why i am saying that (see the slider at the bottom).

My "C" shaped apartment is located in the center of the old part of the town, facing a church, a flower shop, some sort of a castle, some trees and a busy street that offered me a lot of topics to debate in conversations. For example, the fact that the Italian people don't care about traffic rules and they park in the middle of the road...in a roundabout...on a Monday...while standing next to the car eating and chatting. Also, they don't like using a crosswalk: is something about it that scares them - they would literally cross the street anywhere else, rather than using it. The crazy thing is that no one gets mad - is like a really pleasant and peaceful way to create and tolerate chaos. It moved me.

My mentor here taught me how to make coffee, using a Moka pot. "The Italian way". If you don't know what a Moka pot is....neither did i. But now i feel i can't live without it. They have them in different sizes: small ( for one person), medium ( for 3-4 people) and a large one ( for up to 12 people). Personally, i see them this way: small ( a tester), medium ( a normal cup off coffee for one) and large ( a normal cup of coffee for one, having a bad day).

So now, i have some coffee and a window keeping me entertained and helping me to do photo-shoots of the present company (mostly of me, myself and i).

That would be all for now because my afternoon coffee is almost finished and is not charming writing on the blog without it. I'll be right back with more stories from the gorgeous Viterbo.

Kisses for the misses and a handshake for the misters.
