Reasons to envy humans

There have been too many complaints about how we live our lives. A nation stands against the other and the other doesn't feel guilty. There have been too many comments about how badly our lifestyle is and how miserable we are. It's a paradox, really! Humans are filling reports against humanity and we are pushed towards feeling that our lives are worthless and we should prioritize this and that. The important things are transformed in little things and what they define as "important" instead is sexuality and everything became related to it: politics, rights, books, movies, opinions, you name it...

But i believe there are plenty of reasons to envy humans; some humans at least. And what i want is to look at them and realise how blessed we actually are! Because for me they are not little things, but the most important ones.

We have books and the capacity to read and write - we can find our past and write the past for the future generations!

We have senses that complement each other so well. We see, we hear, we smell and we touch. We taste: we have food and it is so different!

We have cultures with all sorts of clothing and music and colours and the best part is that we can travel to see it all!

We have sun above us and we have rain. But we are so used to check the forecast that we forgot to enjoy it!

We have houses that became homes only because of humans. We formed families not only by blood, but by relations and help. We invented words for feelings so we can express and ralate to each other.

We have the possibility to work and be paid for it. Some are choosing simple works and others want something more complicated but in the end, we are useful and we tend to forget that!

We transformed clothes into fashion, music into concerts and paint into art! Our movements became dancing and our voices became singing.

We understood ourselves and we learned why we smile, laugh and cry. We fell in love, the pure kind with butterflies, and once we knew love, everything changed. Because we suddenly had a reason for all of the things.

Through love, we watched the sunsets differently and we listened the songs full of emotion.

We should envy humans because they can learn so much and they can enjoy life!

We should envy humans because they have hope in the worst situations!

We should envy humans because they have faith and that is a virtue!

We should envy humans because they have blue skies and breeze and trees.

We should envy humans because they are trying to change.

No, they are not miserable in their nature because they were created to be the best part of the Creation. And they are...still.

Some of them, it's true, are making their life miserable - they are making it like that by choice: stoping to enjoy what they have because others don't. Stoping to smile because others cry. Stoping to talk because others are silent. Stoping to do because others are not doing. They make themselves miserable by stoping.

Because humans are not to pitty - they are worthy of our envy!
